HOW TO SUBMIT GEAR

Step 1: Fill Out the Submission Form

Tell us about your product, including key details, what makes it a good piece of gear, or a product that Mike and his audience would be interested in learning about.

Step 2: Wait to hear from us

Mike will evaluate your product and decide if it’s the right fit, and whether you want to feature the gear, review the gear, or both. Options may include free or paid opportunities if Mike likes the product.

Step 3: Ship Your Product

Once Mike decides if the product is a good fit, and you agree with the opportunity that’s being offered, you’ll need to ship your product to Mike before an agreed deadline.

What kind of gear are you looking for?
We prioritize products for hiking, backpacking, camping adventures, and outdoor travel.


Is there a cost to submit gear?
No. Submitting gear for testing/review consideration is free. If your product is a good fit, you may be presented with free or paid opportunities.


Can I request a review?
Yes. If you’re interested in a dedicated gear review, please indicate that in the form, and we’ll let you know what options are available.


How are products selected?
Mike reviews all submissions and chooses those that are best aligned with his audience.


Can I be notified when my product is featured?
Yes. We will notify you when your product is featured in Mike’s content.

GUIDELINES FOR
GEAR SUBMISSIONS

Mike is primarily interested in products relevant to hiking, backpacking, backcountry camping, and outdoor travel.

Mike does not guarantee he will review or to feature any product received. All product submissions are subject to initial review. Mike reserves the right to decline testing, featuring or reviewing the product if it is not the right fit for his audience. In such a case, you will be notified and will have the opportunity to arrange return shipping of the product.

Any product used by Mike will not be returned, unless special arrangements have been made.

It is of paramount importance to Mike that he maintains the highest level of trust with his followers. As a result, any product feature or review, whether free or paid, will represent Mike’s honest opinions.
